These opaque plates are suitable for fluorescence and luminescence tests, with the black immuno-micro plate usually used for fluorescence experiments. The opaque black surface reduces background interference from auto fluorescence, inter pore interference, and “light scattering”, providing improved sensitivity. The white opaque immuno-micro plate is perfect for the quantitative determination of bioluminescence or in other luminescence experiments.
